RODE NT6 — a compact professional condenser microphone with a detachable capsule, designed for discreet placement and precision sound capture. Combining studio-grade audio quality with flexible mounting options, the NT6 is perfect for drum overheads, orchestral instruments, pianos, and broadcast applications where microphone visibility must be minimized.

The NT6 features a ½-inch gold-sputtered cardioid condenser capsule connected via a 3-meter Kevlar-reinforced cable to a remote preamplifier body. This allows precise positioning of the capsule in tight or visually sensitive spaces while keeping the electronics out of sight. Its transformerless output stage ensures ultra-low noise, high SPL handling, and detailed, transparent sound.

With switchable –10 dB pad and 80 Hz high-pass filter, the NT6 adapts easily to various recording scenarios, from close-miking loud sources to capturing subtle room ambience. Built from nickel-plated brass, it delivers durability and professional reliability in both studio and location work.
