Off-axis coloration and directivity mismatch at the crossover point are the two most common shortcomings of installation-grade full-range loudspeakers. The AD-S6T addresses both with DMT™ (Directivity Matched Transition), which aligns the coverage pattern of the HF waveguide with the woofer's directivity at the crossover frequency. The result is a consistent, axisymmetric 105° conical coverage pattern with no narrowing or blooming across the listening area.
The included X-Mount™ system supports horizontal, vertical, wall, and ceiling deployments at any angle without requiring special tools. Knurled surfaces at the pivot points prevent drift or sag once the mount is secured. Pre-marked articulation angles let installers configure the bracket on the ground before climbing — a genuine time saver on large multi-point installations.
70/100V Transformer and Intrinsic Correction™ — Ready for Multi-Zone Systems
The 60W low-loss, low-saturation transformer with selectable taps (70V: 60/30/15/7.5W; 100V: 60/30/15W) and 8Ω bypass is accessible via a rear rotary selector protected by a weather grommet. Intrinsic Correction™ voicing profiles, deployable through the Q-SYS Platform and CXD Series amplifiers, deliver pre-optimized frequency response correction without manual EQ tuning — cutting commissioning time on installations where speaker count runs high.
The ABS enclosure with powder-coated aluminum grille exceeds IEC60529 IP-54, backed by MIL-STD-810G salt fog testing (100 hours), cyclic humidity exposure, and extreme temperature cycling — qualifying the AD-S6T for outdoor deployment without additional weatherproofing.
