Morphor LFO – Dual — a two-channel analogue low-frequency oscillator in a 6HP Eurorack format. Each independent channel outputs five waveforms at once: triangle, square, sine, saw and inverted saw, so there is no need to switch shapes mid-performance or add another module to the patch. A three-position range switch moves the oscillator from well under one cycle per minute up into audible territory above 4 kHz, letting the same module cover slow ambient movement and audio-rate modulation alike. A reset input on each channel syncs the waveform cycle to an external trigger.
Five waveforms from one channel at once
A typical patch calls for different modulation shapes for different jobs - triangle for a filter sweep, square for gating, sine for vibrato. Instead of racking several single LFOs or switching shape by hand mid-session, Dual LFO sends all five waves to separate outputs simultaneously, at the same frequency and phase. Two independent channels in 6HP add up to ten simultaneous modulation outputs ready to be routed anywhere in the system.
From ambient crawl to audio-rate modulation
The Low range goes down to 0.005 Hz, a cycle lasting over three minutes - useful for slow, barely perceptible timbral shifts in drones and textures. The High range reaches 4250 Hz, well into audible territory, letting the module double as a source for ring modulation or FM instead of a dedicated audio oscillator. Bipolar LED indicators on each channel make phase and frequency readable at a glance, no oscilloscope required.
