Eliminating Plosives Without a Separate Pop Filter Stand

Vocal and speech recording is prone to hard consonants like "p" and "t", which send a sudden burst of air into the diaphragm and produce a loud, unwanted pop in the recording. The LCT 40 Wxx's foam construction diffuses that burst of air before it reaches the capsule, removing the need to set up a separate pop filter on an extra stand during fast sessions or field recording.

Durability in Studio and Stage Conditions

The standard foam used in cheaper windscreens tends to yellow and lose elasticity over time under light and UV exposure, especially with regular use onstage or in a brightly lit studio.
