Korg NTS-4 is a compact analog performance mixer with a built-in dual-channel logueSDK Mk2 effects processor, previewed at Superbooth 2026 as the latest addition to the Nu:Tekt series. Like the NTS-1 and NTS-3 before it, the NTS-4 is available exclusively as a DIY self-assembly kit. The unit handles 10 input channels — two mono and four stereo — all on 3.5mm mini jacks, while simultaneously functioning as a USB audio interface and MIDI interface. Price and release date had not been officially announced at the time of the Superbooth presentation.
10 channels and logueSDK Mk2: programmable per-channel effects
Four stereo and two mono inputs — the mono channels accepting Eurorack-level signals — cover synthesizers, drum machines, samplers, and modular gear without adapters in a compact desktop setup. Each channel has level, send, and pan controls plus dedicated cue and mute buttons, covering full monitoring and signal management without additional hardware. The built-in dual stereo effects processor runs on the same SDK Mk2 platform as the NTS-3 Kaoss Pad and NTS-1 mkII, making it fully compatible with the logue algorithm library. Effects operate per channel with two control parameters: FX Type and FX Depth. Algorithms can be modified and custom effects programmed via KORG Kontrol Editor over USB. The master section provides main mix level, cue balance, USB audio level control, and a separate headphone output volume. The main stereo output uses a full-size 1/4" jack — the only full-size connector on the unit.
USB audio interface and MIDI OUT: DAW integration and hardware sync
The USB port carries audio and MIDI simultaneously, enabling direct mix recording to a DAW without an external audio interface. The 3.5mm TRS MIDI output syncs connected drum machines, synthesizers, and grooveboxes to a clock from the computer or DAW without a dedicated MIDI controller. Delivered as a DIY kit in line with all other Nu:Tekt products, the NTS-4 requires no specialized tools or electronics knowledge — assembly is based on connecting prefabricated PCBs and mechanical components. The footprint fits directly alongside Volca series units, NTS-1, NTS-3, and desktop Eurorack setups. Korg previewed the product at Superbooth 2026, booth E100 — price and shipping date TBA.
