Kali Audio WS-6.2 — a compact studio subwoofer with two horizontally opposed 6.5-inch drivers, 400 W continuous power (1000 W peak), and low-end extension down to 27 Hz.

Two woofers mounted facing each other cancel out their reactive forces — the cabinet doesn't creep across the desk, buzz, or resonate even at high SPL. This layout gives radiating area comparable to a single 10-inch woofer, packed into an enclosure less than half the size of subwoofers with similar specs. Driver excursion reaches 15mm peak-to-peak, and paired with a sufficiently powerful Class D amp, that's what gets the response down to 27 Hz (-10 dB) without losing control over the bass.

Bass under the desk without compromise

A typical subwoofer with comparable power output simply doesn't fit in a small room, or forces a compromise in monitor placement. The WS-6.2 takes up less than half that footprint, fitting under a desk or into a narrow gap, while still delivering 120 dB max SPL — enough for a full stereo setup and most small multichannel configurations. The front port is designed so air exits at a constant velocity across the whole opening, eliminating the chuffing that usually limits low-end clarity in smaller enclosures.

Flexible integration with a monitor pair

The 80 Hz crossover extends the range of a nearfield monitor pair immediately, without reaching for an external processor; LFE mode accepts a dedicated low-frequency effects channel; and switching the crossover off leaves room for your own external crossover. A footswitch jack lets you bypass the subwoofer instantly to hear the mix on full-range monitors alone and check how it translates to systems without a sub — useful for reference checks. A built-in limiter protects the drivers from overdrive regardless of input level.
