Intech Studio GRID3-TEK2-M

Intech Studio Grid Series 3 TEK2 Mechanical is a third-generation modular USB MIDI controller from the Grid line, built around two high-resolution metal jog wheels and eight Gateron Hall effect switches. The GRID3-TEK2-M variant features metal wheels – available in smooth or detent versions selected separately – designed for precise work in DAWs, video and photo applications, and live performance rigs.

Two Jog Wheels That Actually Feel Different From Encoders

The metal jog wheels in the TEK2 are noticeably larger in diameter and heavier than standard encoders, which translates into finer control when slowly scrubbing a timeline, smoothly tuning a filter frequency, or stepping through frames in DaVinci Resolve. Each wheel has an integrated push function and is surrounded by a five-point multicolor LED ring that indicates position or parameter state. A central 5-bit LED display adds another layer of feedback – keeping eyes off the computer monitor. The wheels are endless and continuous, with no dead point.

Hall Effect Buttons With Hot-Swappable Keycaps

Eight Gateron Hall effect switches with MX-style stems register both velocity and continuous pressure travel, enabling dynamic clip triggering, tool switching, or pressure-sensitive macro control. Keycaps are swappable without tools – remove the front panel and swap – making it straightforward to relabel the buttons for a specific shortcut layout or application. Each button has an individual RGB LED underneath, visible through cutouts in the default keycaps. The magnetic side connector supports expansion up to eight Grid modules powered over a single USB-C cable.
