Producer Pack combines A/D conversion on the input side, an eight-channel summing mixer that doubles as a monitor controller, and an eight-channel D/A converter on the output side, so the signal leaving a DAW runs through a full analog reference path before it reaches the speakers. The three units aren't a loosely matched bundle — they communicate digitally and share low-jitter clocking across the whole chain.
A complete chain from DAW to speakers without losing quality
Tracks leave the DAW over USB or AES into the eight-channel D-BOX+ summing mixer (channels 7 and 8 switchable to mono), where the mix is built on an analog bus. The mixed signal can be recorded back in through CONVERT AD+, whose two independent, switchable input paths make it possible to instantly compare two mastering chains or check a mix against a reference. ClipGuard strips the overload information reaching the DAW's meters without compressing the signal, and the Emphasis circuit, built around a pair of Hammond transformers, adds controlled shelving EQ and second-harmonic saturation wherever a mix needs it. On the output side, CONVERT-8 delivers reference-grade D/A monitoring in stereo or up to 7.1 surround, with extremely low clock jitter and integration with the Monitor ST/SR system for remote source switching, while a digital loop-through lets an external meter tap the signal without extra patching.
Flexible inputs and remote control for multiple workstations
D-BOX+ offers five selectable inputs — analog stereo, analog sum, USB, AES/SPDIF, and Bluetooth — with the option to select several at once, and USB runs driverless on macOS. A free app for macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android mirrors the front-panel functions: volume, dim, talkback, and input selection can all be handled from a tablet next to the keyboard without leaving the seat. The built-in talkback mic activates with a single button, from the unit or from the app. Two independent headphone amplifiers with separate source and level selection let an engineer and an artist monitor two different mixes at once, and three independently switchable speaker outputs with a programmable selector make it easy to compare monitor sets or set up a dedicated mono output.
