The BMB6 motherboard supports sample rates of 44.1kHz, 48kHz, 88.2kHz, 96kHz, 176.4kHz, and 192kHz, providing eight AES/EBU channels in Tascam wiring along with one BNC word clock input and two BNC word clock outputs. The BMB6 is designed exclusively for the B16 chassis and has no B80 equivalent.

Not every studio needs a networked MADI, Dante, or SoundGrid motherboard, yet still wants to connect a Mothership converter directly to a console, processor, or other AES/EBU device.
