Bose VB1

Bose Videobar VB1 – an all-in-one USB conferencing device that combines a microphone array, a 4K camera, and stereo speakers in a single housing connected with one USB cable. It replaces a separate camera, speaker, and microphone setup in meeting spaces up to 6 × 6 meters, integrating with existing network infrastructure and standard conferencing software without extra audio or video drivers.

Microphones that handle room reverberation on their own

Six microphones run static and adaptive beamforming with three exclusion zones and stereo acoustic echo cancellation. In glass-walled huddle rooms or spaces with hard reflective surfaces, where reverb usually calls for an outboard DSP, the VB1 separates speech from HVAC noise or background conversation across a 6-meter pickup range, with a 20–15,000 Hz microphone response. Integrators don't need to spec a separate acoustic processor for each room since noise reduction and echo cancellation run inside the unit itself.

Framing without an operator

An 8 MP sensor and a 123-degree diagonal field of view (115° horizontal, 81° vertical) with lossless 5x optical zoom cover the room without a separate wide-angle camera. Autoframing tracks the speaker or group automatically, and three programmable PTZ presets suit fixed room layouts – one aimed at the presenter, another at the whiteboard. Nobody has to adjust the frame manually mid-call.
