During a fast load-in and load-out at a club gig or wedding, running a separate power cable and a separate XLR cable to a subwoofer is one more step that's easy to skip or connect out of order. The SubMatch Cable combines both of these runs into a single, thick 12 AWG cable terminated in a spring-loaded connector, cutting setup time and reducing the chance of a connection mistake in low light.
One Cable Instead of Two Separate Runs
Instead of running an IEC cable to power the Sub1 or Sub2 and a separate XLR cable to carry the audio signal, the SubMatch Cable delivers both over one run between the L1 Pro32 power stand and the bass module. The spring-loaded locking collar on the connector prevents accidental disconnection when moving gear between sets, or when a cable gets bumped by the crowd or band members.
Automatic Crossover and EQ Calibration Without Manual Setup
Once the SubMatch Cable is connected, the system automatically detects the Sub1 or Sub2 and calibrates the crossover and frequency correction between the line array and the bass module, removing the need to manually tune band split points at every new setup. The same cable also supports daisy-chaining a second Sub1 or Sub2, which is useful for larger events that need extra low-frequency reinforcement, without running separate power to a second subwoofer.
