A spare battery instead of a mid-show power gap

On an all-day festival slot, back-to-back sets at different venues, or an outdoor event with no power access, one battery may not cover the whole day. A second, fully charged S1 Battery Pack lets you swap the cell between sets instead of waiting by an outlet for a top-up. Two charging modes – background trickle charging while the S1 Pro runs on AC power, and a faster Quick Charge mode when the system isn't in use – let you top off the spare while the other battery is powering the show.

Under the 100 Wh threshold – no airline approval needed

This battery is rated at roughly 79.2 Wh, under the 100 Wh limit above which airlines require prior approval to carry a lithium-ion battery in carry-on luggage. For a touring musician flying to gigs with a spare battery in the backpack, that means less chance of a conversation at the security checkpoint or having the item confiscated, compared with the larger-capacity packs used in some competing PA systems. The battery keeps working down to -20°C, though charging pauses below 0°C, and it enters a sleep mode after 30 days of inactivity to protect the cells from over-discharge.
