Blumlein and Near-Coincident Without the Guesswork
The SMS Stereo Bar positions two NUVO microphones at any angle from 0° to 180° on one stand — classic Blumlein at 90°, near-coincident spreads, or Mid-Side with a cardioid and a figure-eight. The NUVO Coupler clips two microphones head-to-head for true Blumlein alignment: both capsules on the same vertical axis, zero inter-channel phase offset at a centred source. Thumb screws lock position in a single move without tools. Two Windtech windscreens protect the aluminium ribbon elements during outdoor sessions, live performances, and any situation where air movement is a concern.
