Two Faces of Classic British Drive
Finding the perfect saturation sweet spot that pushes an amplifier without masking the guitar's inherent dynamics can be challenging in dense live mixes. The WA-TOT resolves this by offering two completely independent sides. Each channel features a Voicing switch ("Blues" for classic, transparent grit or "King" for the coveted boutique mid-push). Additionally, a three-position Mode selector (Overdrive, Boost, Distortion) and a Low/High Gain switch allow you to sculpt everything from an edge-of-breakup clean boost to asymmetrical, roaring lead distortion. Integrated Presence knobs on each channel further assist in taming upper-midrange muddiness, ensuring your tone remains clear and articulate across the fretboard.
Massive Headroom and Advanced Routing
Integrating complex gain stages into a modern pedalboard requires flexible signal routing. The Throne of Tone is equipped with a global Voltage Boost switch that internally steps the 9V power up to 18V. This yields a massive increase in dynamic headroom, significantly reducing inherent circuit compression—a crucial feature when tracking with high-output humbuckers or active pickups. Furthermore, a dedicated FX Order Swap switch allows you to instantly reverse the channel cascade (A->B or B->A). An integrated FX Loop (via a Send/Return jack) even lets you insert external modulation or time-based pedals directly between the two drive sections, unlocking limitless tonal combinations.
