Teenage Engineering TX-6 Black is an environment for sound creation designed for exploration. It features 6 stereo channels (or 12 mono) with customizable knobs for EQ or other parameters, from simple mixing to complex live performances or studio integration. Flexible routing with MFi for iOS, USB-C for DAWs, and DJ mode for crossfading enables a wide range of configurations – including new features for the Teenage Engineering ecosystem.
Modulation is deeply integrated: 4 oscillator waveforms and 4 drum sounds in synth mode, tempo sync, internal tuner, assignable effects sends. Connectivity supports wireless BLE for controlling MIDI devices or syncing sequencer. The mixer offers 8-hour battery life, auto-sleep display, adjustable LED strength, and advanced triggering conditions.
