Studiologic SL88 mk2 B-Stock is an 88-key master keyboard controller featuring the Fatar TP/110 keybed — the mid-range model in the SL mk2 line, manufactured in Italy by Studiologic/Fatar. Compared to the flagship SL88 GT mk2, it offers a lighter and more tour-friendly alternative while sharing the same controller platform: MIDI 2.0, built-in USB-C audio interface, full DAW integration, and an identical control surface layout. B-Stock units may carry minor traces of use; technical specification is identical to new stock.
TP/110 keybed — portable hammer action with aftertouch
The Fatar TP/110 is the successor to the TP/100LR mechanism used in the previous SL Studio generation. It delivers graded key weighting (heavier in the bass, lighter toward the treble), reduced post-strike bounce, and aftertouch triggered by the hammer mechanism itself rather than a foam strip beneath the keybed. At an overall instrument weight of 13.3 kg, the TP/110 sits precisely between authentic piano feel and live transportability — the same mechanism Arturia uses in the KeyLab 88 mk3. With MIDI 2.0, velocity and aftertouch are transmitted at the protocol's higher resolution compared to MIDI 1.0, a difference that becomes audible with sample libraries and virtual instruments that respond to fine dynamic gradations.Built-in audio interface and full DAW integration
A single USB-C cable carries power, MIDI 2.0 communication, and audio from a computer or iPad directly to the 6.3 mm L/R outputs and TRS headphone output — no separate audio interface needed in the chain. The control surface includes six encoders (four zone encoders plus two freely assignable), two programmable sticks (Stick 1 spring-loaded bidirectional, Stick 2 directional non-springed), and DAW transport buttons (Play, Stop, Record, Cycle) with native support for Ableton Live, Apple Logic Pro, Steinberg Cubase, and any Mackie Control Protocol-compliant application. Three pedal inputs accept switch, switch/continuous, and universal (SLP3-D) configurations. The 2.8" LCD display and UX Logic interface handle navigation across 100 programs and 24 program groups directly on the instrument.KEY FEATURES
