Solton DX 43 is a four-channel power amplifier with lower output power than the DX 48, built for fixed installations where rack space and reliability matter more than maximum headroom. It delivers 300 W per channel into 8 ohms, 450 W per channel into 4 ohms, and up to 900 W per bridged pair into 8 ohms. A 20 Hz to 22 kHz frequency response within 0.5 dB and a 112 dB signal-to-noise ratio make it suitable for conference rooms, cafes, and smaller clubs.
Flexible Channel Configuration
A mode switch lets the operator choose between stereo operation with four independent inputs and outputs, parallel mode driving four outputs from two inputs, or bridged mode combining channel pairs into two higher-power outputs. That flexibility means one unit can cover either four independent speaker zones or two pairs of speakers needing more power, without swapping hardware.
Protection Built for Installation Use
A protection set covering DC voltage, short circuits, overheating, and inrush current runs in the background without operator input, which matters in installations where the amplifier operates without a technician on site. Input and output limiting protects speakers from signal overload, and soft startup reduces the load on the electrical supply when multiple units power up together in an installation rack. Balanced XLR inputs with 20 kOhm impedance keep the signal stable over the longer cable runs typical of building installations.
