Solton DSP 206 N is a 1U digital loudspeaker processor in a 2-in / 6-out configuration, combining an active crossover, parametric equalizer and limiter section in one unit. Processing runs on a 48-bit DSP path at 48 kHz sampling, and with a dynamic range above 110 dB and distortion below 0.1% the output stays clean and predictable. Six independent output channels are enough to run a typical 2-way or 3-way system with an added subwoofer, without stacking another processor into the rack.
Advanced Routing Options
Every output has its own crossover section with a choice of Butterworth, Bessel or Linkwitz-Riley alignment and slopes from 12 to 48 dB per octave, letting engineers dial in the filter curve to match specific low- and high-frequency drivers. Eight bands of fully parametric EQ on every input and output, backed by high shelf and low shelf filters, give tonal control comparable to an outboard graphic EQ without adding another box into the chain.
A Portable Rig for the Road
The compact 1U housing and 2.7 kg weight let the processor fit into a small road rack, and control over USB, RS 485 or Ethernet works whether the setup is done directly on the front panel or remotely from a laptop. Thirty stored presets make switching between venue or tour configurations quick, and a lock function keeps settings safe from accidental changes during transport or while running on stage. The rated output processing latency is around 110 ms, worth accounting for when syncing with other elements of the system.
