Solton aart P-12 A

Solton aart P-12 A is a self-powered bi-amped two-way loudspeaker built around a 12" Neodymium aaCRAAFT driver on a 3" voice coil and a HF compression driver with a 1.75" voice coil and 1" exit, driven by a dual-channel Class D amplifier with FIR DSP. Like the aart P-15 A, the cabinet uses a PP composite (polypropylene) enclosure — lighter and more moisture-resistant than plywood — and at 16 kg with dimensions of 365 x 605 x 360 mm it is one of the most transport-friendly active 12" cabinets in the Solton range with a full DSP and PowerCon feature set.

12" Neodymium aaCRAAFT and FIR DSP — compact dimensions, full DSP flexibility

The 12" aaCRAAFT Neodymium driver on a 3" (75 mm) voice coil delivers 500 W continuous and 2000 W peak power with a bass extension to 50 Hz (-10 dB) at 98 dB sensitivity (1 W/1 m). The HF compression driver on a 1.75" voice coil with a 1" exit handles the top end with low moving mass and reliable dynamic response under extended drive. Dual-channel DSP with FIR filtering corrects phase at the crossover transition — the result is consistent phase across the full 90° x 60° coverage angle and linear impulse response when running cabinets in pairs. Four factory DSP presets cover fullrange, MF/HF, stage monitor and installation scenarios without cable changes. Switchable Line/Mix OUT and two XLR/6.35 Jack Combo inputs with Mic/Line preamps handle zone chaining and signal monitoring from the rear panel. PowerCon In/Out supports mains daisy-chaining between multiple P-12 A cabinets without external power splitters. Dual-band limiters protect LF and HF drivers independently.

PP composite enclosure, stage monitor and PA top — 16 kg for every role

The multi-angle PP composite enclosure resists moisture and deformation, does not swell after rain and needs no refinishing after surface scratches — making the P-12 A practical for mixed indoor-outdoor deployments without covers on every trip. At 16 kg one person handles a full stereo setup without a trolley. The pole-mount socket, two side handles and the RM10 ring screw accessory (art. 12516) cover stand, sub-stack and suspension mounting. Recommended subwoofers: aart SUB 15 A and aart SUB 18 A.
