This minimalist configuration offers a total of 16 rack units (2 sections of 8U each), positioned directly on the desktop. By omitting lower cabinets and lowering the profile of the upper modules, this desk represents the ideal solution for mastering and mixing studios where absolute sound field transparency and a low line-of-sight are the highest priorities.

Maximum Acoustic Transparency

The primary strength of the DUO [2x8] model lies in the minimization of sound-reflecting surfaces. The reduced height of the rack modules (8U) allows for studio monitors to be placed precisely at ear level while significantly limiting edge diffraction. The completely unobstructed space beneath the desktop eliminates unwanted low-frequency resonances and reflections from the engineer's legs, resulting in the most accurate phase response at the sweet spot.
