RME HDSPe MADI – 128-channel PCI Express card with 1× optical MADI (SC) and 1× coaxial MADI (BNC), Word Clock I/O, 2× MIDI I/O (breakout), 6.3 mm analog line/phones output, TotalMix FX mixer (without DSP FX), and SteadyClock FS clocking; up to 64×64 @ 44.1/48 kHz, 32×32 @ 88.2/96 kHz, and 16×16 @ 176.4/192 kHz.
HDSPe MADI fully utilizes the MADI standard: it supports 56/64 channel modes, 48K/96K frame (Single/Double Wire), and sampling rates up to 192 kHz using multichannel S/MUX. TotalMix FX allows free routing and mixing of 64 inputs and 64 playbacks to 64 physical outputs (8192-channel matrix). The analog monitor output (line/headphones) enables fast listening without the need for an external converter.
The main bracket features optical and coaxial MADI I/O, plus a stereo analog output. The included extension board adds Word Clock In/Out (BNC, with switchable termination) and a breakout connector for 2× MIDI In/Out. Thanks to SteadyClock FS, the card can recover clock signals directly from MADI with high jitter immunity. While AVDECC is not supported, a virtual MIDI over MADI port is available. ARC USB compatibility and the DIGICheck software suite round out the feature set.
