RME Digiface Dante – 256-channel USB 3.0 interface for Dante networks with 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports (redundancy and built-in switch functionality), switchable BNC Word Clock I/O / MADI I/O, DC-coupled headphone output, and TotalMix FX mixer. The unit streams Dante audio (up to 64 ch) and MADI audio (up to 64 ch) over USB, and can also operate standalone as a Dante↔MADI converter.
Digiface Dante combines RME’s stable MADIface-series drivers with Dante network control via Dante Controller. Two Ethernet port banks enable full redundancy or operate as a small switch (up to 4 lines). When USB is disconnected, the unit automatically works as a 64-channel Dante/MADI converter with an option to route a preconfigured mix to the analog output.
The front panel offers 4× RJ45 (100 Mb/s / 1 Gb/s), BNC for Word Clock/MADI, and a headphone output, while the rear panel includes USB 3.0 and power input. TotalMix FX provides full routing and submixing (no DSP effects), and remote control via TotalMix Remote is supported. The interface is also AES67-compatible within Dante environments.
