The AIR XD Sub 15 is the compact, mobile-first member of the AIR XD subwoofer lineup – built for DJs, small to medium live acts and permanent installs where output, portability and fast deployment all need to coexist. The 15" driver with an enlarged 3" voice coil, driven by a 2,000 W Class-D amplifier, delivers clean, dynamic bass down to 32 Hz at –10 dB with a peak SPL of 128 dB. The enlarged voice coil ensures efficient heat dissipation and stable power handling under continuous high-output use. The 15 mm wood enclosure is lighter and more compact than the Sub 18, translating directly into faster transport and setup.
DSP and array configurations – same platform as the Sub 18
The DSP section with 2.6" full-color LCD provides the same full toolkit as the Sub 18: variable lowpass filter (60–150 Hz) for crossover matching to any full-range top, alignment delay for time-correcting the sub relative to elevated tops, cardioid and end-fire array presets that eliminate manual phase and delay calculations, "Mo' Bass" mode for applications demanding additional low-frequency energy, and polarity invert. Dedicated integration presets for AIR XD full-range loudspeakers automatically set the crossover point and timing compensation for optimised system performance.
Connectivity and portability
Two combo XLR/1/4" inputs with direct Mix Out XLR outputs handle flexible routing – the signal passes through to additional speakers or a mixer without external splitters. Bluetooth TWS Bridge Mode enables wireless stereo pairing with a second sub or AIR XD full-range speakers without additional cables. The included caster kit, ergonomic side handles and ground-stacking guides allow quick repositioning and deployment in ground-stacked, arrayed or permanently installed configurations.
