A Secure Grip Without Slipping

The rubber material of the DTP 40 Mts grips the microphone body more firmly than typical plastic, so a set angle and position hold steady from the first take to the last, with no need for constant readjustment.

Damping Noise Transmitted Through the Stand

A microphone mounted directly in a rigid clip picks up vibration transmitted through the stand — a knock to a stand leg or floor vibration passes straight into the capsule as low-frequency noise. The DTP 40 Mts's flexible rubber construction damps some of that vibration before it reaches the microphone, resulting in a cleaner signal without needing extra low-cut filtering at the mixer.
