LEWITT CONNECT 2 is a compact USB-C audio interface with one XLR microphone preamp, one Hi-Z instrument input, a touch-capacitive control panel, hardware DSP, and Auto Setup. Designed as the most accessible audio interface for musicians, podcasters, and content creators – no audio engineering knowledge required. Includes Cubase LE and Cubasis LE licenses. Compatible with macOS, Windows, and iOS.
Auto Setup, Autogain, and CPU-Free DSP
Auto Setup guides users through configuration step by step: microphone type selection (dynamic/condenser, automatic 48V phantom power), low-cut filter decision, preamp character choice (Clear / Warm / Vivid), and optional compressor and Denoiser activation. After a 10-second signal test the interface sets the gain automatically. Autogain also works as a standalone function – a single tap on the touch panel. Clipguard protects the signal from clipping at all times. All DSP processing – compressor, Denoiser, low-cut filter, and preamp characters – runs on hardware, introducing no CPU load and no latency to the monitoring path. The Hi-Z input (6.35 mm jack) at 2.5 MΩ impedance with a differential ground break loop circuit handles guitars from vintage single-coils to modern active humbuckers cleanly.
Touch Interface and Loopback
The flat, rounded body with rubberised texture houses a capacitive touch panel: input and output channel selectors, MUTE, Autogain, and a Custom Button assignable to any of up to 20 workflow shortcuts. The central LED ring serves as both the level control and signal meter. Two headphone outputs – 3.5 mm and 6.35 mm – include a high-impedance mode for studio headphones. Loopback runs on the interface's hardware DSP independently of the computer software, enabling recording of system audio alongside the microphone or instrument signal for streaming and podcast use without additional software.
