Korg PS-3300 FS is a full‑scale reissue of Korg’s ultra‑rare, fully analog PS‑3300 polyphonic synthesizer from the late 1970s, originally designed by Fumio Mieda. The FS version faithfully recreates the original three‑layer semi‑modular architecture—three PSU‑3301 synth units plus the PSU‑3302 mixer/utility section—while adding modern conveniences such as panel memory, USB/MIDI connectivity, a dedicated librarian app and an extended 49‑key C–C keyboard.

The PS‑3300 FS is a true 49‑voice fully polyphonic analog synthesizer: every key has its own dedicated signal path with oscillator, filter, amplifier and envelope, resulting in a total of 147 independent synthesis voices (three complete synth circuits per key). The three PSU‑3301 modules act as independent layers whose balances are controlled by the PSU‑3302 module, which also provides sample & hold, a global envelope (GEG), a voltage processor and extensive signal routing. A key sonic hallmark is the 3‑band resonator, a trio of voltage‑controllable band‑pass filters that can create vocal‑like, phaser‑ and wah‑style tones, while per‑note microtuning (12 tuning knobs per PSU‑3301) enables advanced microtonal setups and custom scales.

KEY FEATURES

    >Full‑scale reissue of the legendary Korg PS‑3300 polyphonic analog synthesizer >Fully analog signal path with 49 keys and 49 independent polyphonic voices (true full polyphony) >Three‑layer architecture: 3 × PSU‑3301 synth units plus PSU‑3302 mixer and utility section >Total of 147 synthesis voices: for each key, three complete signal chains with oscillators, filters, envelopes and VCAs >Semi‑modular design with extensive internal normalisation so it plays without patch cables, yet offers a rich patch panel for advanced routing >Unique 3‑band resonator (three band‑pass filters) for sculpting timbre and creating phaser‑, wah‑ and vocal‑like textures >Microtuning capabilities: 12 independent tuning knobs per PSU‑3301 for precise per‑semitone tuning >New panel memory function with 16 programs per bank and 16 banks for a total of 256 panel presets >Modern connectivity including USB and MIDI, plus a dedicated librarian application for preset management >Includes the PS‑3010 keyboard unit (49 keys, C–C), matched to the synth modules
