K&M 18993 Keyboard Stand Rick 20 is a heavy-duty double-braced X-stand designed specifically for stage pianos. The reduced support arm depth of 250 mm compared to the standard Rick model suits the shallow housings of modern stage pianos, retaining all the stability and ergonomics characteristic of the Rick series.
Double-brace stability for stage pianos
Single X-stands lose stability under intense playing, especially at higher settings. The Rick 20 addresses this through double-brace tubes with cross members that significantly reduce vibration and wobble across the full adjustment range. A steel metal joint meshing in 5° steps with an engraved scale lets you set a preferred height and return to it at every gig without searching for the right position. An ergonomic clamping lever allows the stand to be set up and collapsed in seconds with one hand.
Dedicated fit for stage piano housings
The 250 mm support arm depth is optimised for the shallow housings of stage pianos such as the Roland RD, Yamaha CP and Kawai ES — the instrument rests fully on the support arms without overhanging, sitting securely on four fixed rubber end caps that protect the finish. An adjustable levelling end cap on one leg stabilises the stand on uneven stage floors without shims. The adjustable support width from 327 to 789 mm covers both compact 61-key stage pianos and full-size 88-key instruments.
