IsoAcoustics V120 Truss Clamp 2" – an aluminium clamp that mounts the V120 isolation mount to 2" (50mm) truss, for flying studio monitors outside a fixed room.
The 2" version addresses the same problem as the 1.5" clamp, but for the thicker truss tubing common in event and stage rigging: how to fly a reference monitor above the mix position without structural vibration from the truss feeding into the cabinet. It works exactly like the V120's ceiling install – the only difference is the diameter of the tube it wraps around.
Isolation from a thicker truss profile
The clamp attaches to the M10 thread on top of the V120 mount, once the standard ceiling plate is removed, and wraps around a 2" profile with an adjustable knob. That keeps the monitor decoupled from the supporting structure exactly as it would be on a wall or ceiling install – relevant for film sets, mobile studio applications, or temporary control positions built on event-grade truss.Same mounting logic, different tube diameter
Because the tightening mechanism and the M10 mounting point are identical to the 1.5" version, a crew handling both truss sizes doesn't need to learn two separate mounting procedures – only the clamp itself changes to match whatever diameter is on site.
