IsoAcoustics V120 Mount – a ceiling and wall isolation mount for professional studio monitors, decoupling the speaker from the building structure via IsoAcoustics' patented isolation technology.
A monitor bolted rigidly to a ceiling or wall transfers structural vibration both ways – back down into the speaker's cone, and up into the surrounding surface, which starts resonating as an extra, uncontrolled radiating panel. The result is the same as a poorly placed monitor on a desk: a colored low end and mixing decisions made against a skewed reference. The V120 Mount addresses this directly at the connection point between the speaker and the supporting structure.
Decoupling from the building structure
The V120's isolation technology reduces excitation of the supporting structure and the transfer of vibration energy back into the speaker, whether the mount sits on a ceiling, a wall, truss, or unistrut channel. For the engineer, that means the listening reference in a room with flown monitors reflects the source itself, rather than the source plus whatever resonance the mounting structure adds.Precise aiming without moving the mounting point
The mount offers 360° of horizontal rotation and vertical tilt adjustment, letting you aim the monitor's acoustic axis directly at the listening position regardless of where the actual mounting point sits in the room.
