The secret to the EVE Audio SC307's exceptionally truthful sound reproduction lies in its intelligent, frequency-separated driver distribution. The monitor incorporates two proprietary 6.5-inch SilverCone woofers constructed with rigid, glass-fiber-coated honeycomb diaphragms. While they appear identical, the internal DSP assigns them distinctly different roles: one woofer operates strictly as a sub-bass driver (sweeping from 40 Hz up to 300 Hz), while the other covers the full bass-midrange spectrum (up to 3000 Hz). This effectively prevents mechanical interference and muddiness. The critical high frequencies are handled by EVE’s renowned Air Motion Transformer (AMT RS2), which utilizes a larger front plate and internal magnet for distortion-free, incredibly transparent highs.
To power this sophisticated acoustic setup, the SC307 relies on three independent, high-efficiency Class-D PWM amplifiers (100W for each woofer and 50W for the tweeter), delivering a robust total power output of 250W. At its core is a high-resolution DSP engine perfectly integrated with a premium Burr-Brown A/D converter (24-bit/192 kHz) to ensure absolute signal purity. An elegant, front-mounted SMART-knob surrounded by an LED ring gives engineers immediate, one-push access to precise volume control and essential acoustic room-adaptation filters (High-shelf, Low-shelf, and a specialized Desk filter), eliminating the guesswork of room acoustics.
