DiGiGrid MOD-SFP-SM is an optional card for the DiGiGrid MGO that adds support for single-mode fiber optic connectivity. The SFP module expands the capabilities of compatible RME devices with an SFP optical transceiver. It is designed to send and receive up to 64 channels of audio from other MADI devices.
The SFP module supports fiber optic cables with an LC (Lucent Connector) plug. Since most MADI devices require SC (square connectors), this module comes with an LC-SC adapter cable and SC-SC connector, allowing the use of existing MADI cables.
