Bose Videobar VB-S – a compact, all-in-one USB videoconferencing device with four microphones, a mono speaker, and a 4K camera, built for very small spaces such as phone booths or one-on-one meeting rooms up to 3 × 3 meters. Unlike the larger VB1, the VB-S connects to the network over Wi-Fi rather than Ethernet and needs only one USB-C cable to the computer plus power.
Four microphones sized for a single desk
Four microphones with static and adaptive beamforming, three exclusion zones, and full stereo acoustic echo cancellation (SAEC) cover a 4-meter pickup range – enough for one or two people at a desk without picking up conversation from the next booth or hallway. Microphone frequency response is 20–15,000 Hz, and auto EQ adjusts voice level regardless of how close the speaker sits to the unit. Integrators don't need to add a separate condenser mic or outboard DSP for this kind of station.
A camera with a physical lens cover and a single-person mode
An 8 MP sensor and a 123-degree diagonal field of view (115° horizontal, 81° vertical) with up to 5x digital zoom cover even a tight room. Individual autoframing mode frames one person instead of a group – useful in a one-person booth, where Group mode often pulls the shot back unnecessarily. A physical sliding lens cover gives the user a way to disable the camera without relying on software alone, which matters in open offices with shared booths.
