The N22 and N8 are active, compact, and road-ready microphones built for daily studio work and touring. The NUVO Series Case matches that operational profile: an impact-resistant ABS shell, foam lining that immobilises the microphone in a fixed position, and a sealed closure that blocks dust and the ferromagnetic particles (tramp iron) that the N22 and N8's neodymium magnets actively attract. The microphone comes out in a single, established sequence — with shock mount clip and velvet protective bag stowed alongside — without unpacking separate containers or plastic sleeves.
Ribbon Protection Away from the Studio
The N22 and N8 carry 1.8-µm aluminium ribbons that are actively shielded inside the microphone body — but the body itself needs to be stored in an environment free from air blasts and magnetic contamination. The closed case blocks both simultaneously. For artists and engineers who carry an N22 or N8 between sessions, to film sets, or to rehearsals without a full touring rig, the NUVO Case is a daily protection tool rather than packaging retrieved once from a shelf. The NUVO Case ships with every individual N22 and N8 from the factory. In the NUVO Stereo Kit, the SKB hard case takes the role of the combined transport solution for two microphones and accessories — both approaches share the same philosophy of dedicated protection, scaled to the number of microphones in the rig. Engineers owning more than two NUVO microphones can order the NUVO Case separately as standard per-microphone storage for each additional unit.
