Yamaha HS5 is a compact active two-way nearfield studio monitor designed to deliver a highly neutral, reference-grade sound. As part of the acclaimed HS series, the HS5 has become a go-to choice for small and mid-sized studios, excelling in music production, mixing, editing and post‑production where accuracy matters more than flattering coloration.

The monitor features a 5" cone woofer and a 1" dome tweeter with a dedicated waveguide, powered by separate Class‑D amplifiers with a total output of 70 W (45 W LF, 25 W HF). Its frequency response extends from approximately 54 Hz to 30 kHz (‑10 dB), with a working range of about 74 Hz – 24 kHz (‑3 dB), offering tight, controlled low end, detailed mids and a clear, non‑harsh top end. On the rear panel you’ll find balanced XLR and 1/4" TRS inputs, along with Room Control and High Trim switches that let you adapt the HS5’s response to your room and taste.
