Wolff Audio ST-8 - Automation

Wolff Audio Console ST-8 Automation – an enhanced version of the 8-channel ST-8 console, featuring an advanced "Flying Faders" analog automation system and a full complement of 500 Series modules for every channel.

The Automation version takes working on a compact console to a whole new level of precision. Each of the 8 channels is equipped with a high-end, 100mm motorized fader, allowing for the recording and playback of fader moves and mutes directly in the analog domain. This system, developed in collaboration with THD Labs, operates in absolute and relative modes and also allows the faders to be used as DAW controllers for the most popular software.

In addition to automation, this variant comes factory-equipped with 8 Wolff Audio RefPre preamplifiers and 8 Wolff Audio FREQ equalizers, filling the 500 Series slots with top-tier processors. This provides the user with a complete, ready-to-use mixing environment featuring 24 summable inputs, full automation, and the legendary Paul Wolff sound, all in a compact frame perfect for the modern hybrid studio.
