Waves SOUNDGRID Redundant PSU for WSG Bridge is an external backup power supply designed for the Waves / Hear Technologies WSG Bridge, providing fail-safe redundancy for SoundGrid ⇄ Dante network bridging systems. By adding this unit as a secondary supply, you ensure that your WSG Bridge remains fully operational even if the primary power supply fails.
The PSU delivers 48 V DC at 400 mA and is built to operate from a wide universal mains input range of 100–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz. This makes it suitable for touring and fixed installations worldwide without the need for step-up/step-down transformers—only a region-appropriate mains cable or plug adapter is required.
In a typical setup, the WSG Bridge handles up to 64 channels of bidirectional audio between Dante and Waves SoundGrid networks, and having a redundant PSU dramatically increases overall reliability for critical live sound, broadcast, and post-production environments. The redundant power supply connects to the dedicated secondary DC input on the WSG Bridge’s rear panel and operates transparently in parallel with the main PSU.
