Warm Audio WA-MPX – single-channel tube microphone preamp, authentic reproduction of the revered 351-style tube preamps from the tape era, known for pioneering rock 'n' roll and radio-ready hits. Delivers the sonic signature of vintage inspirations, offering high-headroom analog warmth that can range from ultra clean to rude and saturated. Handwired circuit with custom CineMag transformers and three tubes, providing up to 90dB of gain when the high-gain switch is engaged. Ideal for applications such as warm, rich vocals that sit prominently in a mix without high-end harshness. Includes Tone control for altering input transformer impedance, Tape Saturation for emulating tape machines, and switchable filters for managing bass and high frequencies, making it suitable for professional recording experiences.
