Waldorf Quantum MK2

Waldorf Quantum MK2 is a hybrid digital-analog synthesizer featuring a 61-key semi-weighted Fatar keyboard with polyphonic aftertouch, three stereo digital oscillators with five synthesis algorithms, two analog filters per voice in 24/12 dB configuration, 59 GB of internal sample memory, an advanced modulation matrix, and up to 10,000 presets.

Quantum MK2 pushes sonic boundaries with its unique combination of five synthesis algorithms: classic Waldorf-style wavetable with audio and speech resynthesis, traditional waveforms with detuning and hard sync, granular/multisampler, resonator, and the innovative Kernel mode combining FM and wavetable modulation in the audio range. Each of the three stereo oscillators operates independently, providing a massive range of sound design possibilities.

The analog section offers 8 voices with individual analog filters per voice. These can be further enhanced using digital filters, bitcrushers, distortions, and other DSP algorithms. A flexible routing system allows you to rearrange analog and digital modules freely, creating unique and evolving signal paths.

The modulation system includes 6 multi-mode LFOs, 6 loopable ADSR envelopes, a powerful Komplex modulator, and a 40-slot modulation matrix. All modulators support polyphonic operation, allowing independent modulation per note. The high-resolution touchscreen, RGB-lit aluminum encoders, and assignable controls ensure seamless interaction and intuitive workflow.

The effects section includes a dual-layer multi-FX rack with five slots per voice, global compressor, and a step sequencer with parameter automation and scale quantization. The integrated sample editor and full SD/USB support enable advanced sample management and multisample creation without a computer.
