Vostok Instruments Divkid Trace is a 4-channel interpolating scanner with DC-coupled inputs, decay control, and modulation signal inversion.
Expand your patching horizons with Trace - a powerful 4-channel interpolating scanner from Vostok Instruments, created in collaboration with Ben Wilson "DivKid".
Smooth signal interpolation
The classic interpolating scanner design, first introduced in 1994, combines the capabilities of a signal selector and a crossfader. Instead of a hard switch between inputs, signals smoothly morph into each other based on the control signal.
Seamless transitions between channels
Trace utilizes a specially tuned characteristic for the smoothest transitions between inputs. Discover captivating intermediate combinations and interesting morphing effects.
Audio/CV applications
With DC-coupled inputs, Trace can work with both audio and modulating CV signals, opening up new creative possibilities.
Flexible scanning control
The built-in CV inverter and attenuator allow detailed control over the scanning process to achieve desired effects.
