50V High-Voltage Architecture and Power Reserves

For mixing engineers alternating between low-impedance planar magnetic designs and high-impedance 600-Ohm dynamic monitors, current stability is paramount. The HPA V101 operates on a 50V internal voltage rail, enabling a massive output swing of up to 18.9V RMS. This extensive headroom eliminates transient compression and dynamic smearing, providing absolute mechanical control over headphone drivers. The result is a tight, articulate low-end and superior instrument separation, even when monitoring dense, complex arrangements.

7-Stage Pre-Gain System and ALPS Precision

Matching gain stages across widely varying source levels and headphone sensitivities—from hyper-sensitive IEMs to power-hungry open-back models—usually introduces an audible noise floor. Violectric solves this via an internal 7-stage Pre-Gain adjustment system (-18 to +18 dB in 6 dB steps). This allows the tracking engineer to optimize the signal path, keeping inherent noise completely inaudible. Volume attenuation is managed by the industry-standard ALPS RK27 potentiometer, coupled to a massive 25mm milled aluminum knob for smooth, tactile control and perfect channel matching.
