Universal Audio Volt 876 – professional 8-channel USB audio interface delivering legendary analog sound for the whole band. The Volt 876 features eight digitally controlled preamps with Vintage mode based on UA’s iconic 610 tube console preamp, giving every mic or instrument input the warmth and depth of true analog character. Each channel also includes a UA 76 analog compressor inspired by the classic 1176 Limiter, adding clarity and punch to vocals, drums, synths, and guitars. The professional 32-bit/192 kHz converters capture every nuance of performance on Mac, PC, iPad, or iPhone.
With UAD Console software, Volt 876 offers Assistive Auto-Gain, full session recall, two independent low-latency cue mixes, and built-in talkback mic. Integrated LUNA Recording System support delivers an analog-style workflow with AI-assisted tools like voice control, instrument detection, and tempo listening – giving you a fast, intuitive way to record and mix with analog depth.
Connectivity includes 8 × 8 analog I/O, ADAT I/O (16 × 16 channels) for expansion up to three Volt 876 units (24 × 28 system), dual headphone amps, switchable Hi-Z inputs, and selectable 48 V phantom power. Volt 876 can also function as an 8 × 8 ADAT preamplifier expander for Apollo or other interfaces. Rugged and rack-mountable, it’s built for professional reliability with replaceable rack ears and rubber desktop feet.
Every unit ships with the UAD Producer Suite including legendary Teletronix LA-2A, 1176 Classic Compressor, Pultec EQs, Century Tube Channel Strip, Galaxy Tape Echo, PolyMAX synth, Showtime '64 amp and more, plus third-party software like Ableton Live Lite, Melodyne Essential, UJAM instruments and Spitfire LABS.
