Teenage Engineering PO-20 Arcade is a pocket-sized arcade-inspired synthesizer that captures the nostalgic charm of 8-bit video game soundtracks. Designed for instant creativity, it features 16 retro-style waveforms, a 16-step sequencer, 16 built-in effects, and chord generation capabilities — all in a minimalist, battery-powered unit that runs on 2 AAA batteries and includes a built-in speaker and fold-out stand.

True to the Pocket Operator ethos, the PO-20 Arcade enables rapid composition with intuitive controls. Its chord engine lets you trigger harmonies with single notes, while pattern chaining supports up to 128 patterns for building full arrangements. Once your sequence is ready, enhance it with creative effects like bit crush, stutter, delay, and more — all controllable in real time.

Equipped with high-quality audio components — including a Cirrus Logic DAC and Silicon Labs EFM32 Gecko MCU — the PO-20 Arcade delivers crisp, distinctive sound despite its compact size. It syncs seamlessly with other Pocket Operators and compatible gear via audio pulse sync, making it ideal for both standalone jamming and integration into larger setups.
