Solton FCR 82 – a stacking and flying frame for RB 82 line array modules, the small version built for clusters of up to 6 units. FCR 82 solves a problem specific to engineers running smaller RB 82 clusters – situations where the large FLC 82 frame would be oversized, and the crew needs a single piece of hardware that covers both ground stacking and a flown configuration. Rather than carrying two separate rigging sets for the same six modules, the crew uses one frame regardless of which mounting method the venue calls for.

One frame for both stacking and flying

FCR 82 works both as a base for stacking the RB 82 cluster on a subwoofer and as a frame for flying it, with no hardware swap between the two modes. In practice, the same cluster configuration can go up as a ground stack on a Pro-Sub 18/800 at one festival, then be flown from a truss at a hall show the next, without rebuilding the rig from the ground up.

A compact cluster of up to 6 modules

The 6-module limit matches the typical scale of club dates, corporate events, and mid-size venues, where a full 16-module FLC 82 cluster would be out of proportion to both the acoustic requirement and the logistics. The smaller frame also means a lighter overall transport package, which matters on one-day runs with a limited number of hands for load-out.
