Solton DAP 48 is a 1U digital loudspeaker management processor combining an active crossover, parametric equalizer and limiter section in a single unit built for controlling PA systems. Signal conversion runs through a 48-bit DSP path at 96 kHz sampling, delivering a wide dynamic range and low self-noise. The 4-in, 8-out layout covers multi-way systems without stacking extra outboard processors.
Advanced Routing Options
Each of the eight outputs has an independent crossover section with a choice of Butterworth, Bessel or Linkwitz-Riley alignment and slopes from 12 to 48 dB per octave. That flexibility lets engineers match the filter curve to the actual cabinet response instead of compromising with a fixed preset bank. High shelf and low shelf filters on both inputs and outputs handle tonal correction without pulling in an external graphic EQ.
System-Level Protection and Control
Every output channel carries a 180 degree phase inverter, mute switch and limiter, removing the need for separate protection stages elsewhere in the signal path. Thirty stored presets make it fast to switch configurations between venues or tours. Control runs over USB, RS 485 or Ethernet, and a lock function keeps parameters safe from accidental changes once the unit is running on stage.
