Solton aart T-215 A is an active two-way bi-amped fullrange cabinet running two 15" Neodymium aaCRAAFT woofers and a Neodymium compression HF driver, powered by a 1400 W continuous / 5600 W peak Class D bi-amp module. Designed as a high-output main system top cabinet for large venues and outdoor stages — where a single 15" runs out of SPL headroom — the dual-15" configuration delivers a real 6–8 dB gain over conventional single-15" systems without a proportional increase in size or weight.
Dual 15" Neodymium drivers and FIR DSP — output and precision in one box
Two 15" aaCRAAFT Neodymium woofers on 3" voice coils operate in a birch plywood bass-reflex enclosure, extending to 45 Hz (-10 dB) with controlled, punchy low-end that handles smaller events without a dedicated subwoofer. The Neodymium HF compression driver on a 3" voice coil covers the top end — Neodymium magnet keeps moving mass low and improves transient resolution in the presence and air range. The advanced DSP uses FIR filtering for phase correction at crossover points, which conventional IIR filters cannot achieve — the result is consistent phase across the full coverage angle and tighter stereo imaging in wider arrays. Limiter, over-voltage protection and PFC (power factor correction) guard the electronics against unstable mains supply on stages and outdoor sites. The 90° x 70° coverage pattern provides broader vertical throw than the standard 60° found on conventional tops — useful when the cabinet is mounted high or angled back.
