Solton aart SUB 315 is an active 15" subwoofer with a built-in three-channel Class D amplifier — one channel for the subwoofer section (800 W continuous / 2400 W peak) and two satellite channels (2x 350 W / 4 Ω continuous) that drive passive top cabinets directly from the sub's rear panel. No external amplifier, no active satellite required — connect two passive 4 Ω tops to the NL4 outputs and the system is complete.
Three-channel amplifier and five DSP presets — a full system from one enclosure
The onboard DSP runs five presets and provides independent sub and satellite level control, a variable low-pass crossover from 80 to 200 Hz (recommended starting point: 120 Hz) and a stereo/mono switch. Two stereo Jack/XLR Combo inputs and two XLR Link OUT outputs allow daisy-chaining a second SUB 315 or an ACT SAT set without a mixer or outboard processor. The M20 pole socket on the top panel takes a satellite directly — a complete stack assembled in seconds. Factory-fitted 75 mm casters and two side handles make single-person rolling and positioning practical. The 15 mm birch plywood enclosure is finished in black textured paint with a perforated steel grille backed by acoustically transparent foam.
15" aaCRAAFT driver — low compression, usable dynamics
The 15" aaCRAAFT long-excursion driver on a 4" (100 mm) voice coil works in a bass-reflex cabinet extending to 35 Hz (-10 dB) at 99 dB sensitivity (1 W/1 m). Maximum SPL of 127 dB continuous and 133 dB peak covers rooms of 200 to 400 people without compressing transient dynamics. The limiter protects the driver under extreme drive while staying transparent at normal working levels. The SUB 315 is the recommended partner for passive aart T 8 satellites in the ACT SAT bundle, and works with any 4 Ω passive satellite rated up to 200 W nominal.
