The passive long-excursion driver with a 4-inch voice coil handles 1100 W continuous and 4400 W peak, reaching a maximum peak SPL of 137 dB at one meter. A compact bass-reflex enclosure made of 15 mm birch plywood, paired with a low-distortion port, keeps driver control tight while cutting cabinet footprint compared to dual-driver versions.
A Flying Foundation for the Line Array
With the optional FLC 18 flying hardware the subwoofer can be rigged, and AD 82 or AD 210 adapter frames connect it directly to RB 82 or SL 210 modules, building a single flown cluster without a separate ground support structure for the low end. That integration cuts rigging time and reduces the number of hardware pieces compared to setting subwoofers on the floor beneath a flown array.
Crossover Precision and Driver Protection
Crossover and driver protection are handled digitally through a Solton DSP 206 N or an equivalent controller, allowing precise placement of the crossover point relative to the array modules running above the subwoofer while protecting the driver from overload without a passive filter network. A 37-180 Hz response within 3 dB and an operating range down to 33 Hz at -10 dB provide enough low-end headroom without overlapping into the mid-high section. An 8 ohm nominal impedance simplifies running several cabinets in parallel on a single amplifier channel.
