Sequential Prophet-6 – a 6-voice polyphonic analog synthesizer with two VCOs per voice, analog filters, digital effects, arpeggiator, step sequencer, and classic one-knob-per-function control with no submenus.

The Prophet-6 is Dave Smith’s tribute to the legendary Prophet-5 — a fully analog, discrete signal path synthesizer enriched with modern features such as digital effects, USB MIDI, and precision clocking. The interface provides immediate access to every key parameter, and the Preset mode makes the sound match exactly what you see on the panel — what you see is what you hear. It features six true analog voices, each with two discrete VCOs, sub oscillator, and noise generator. Waveforms are continuously variable, and oscillator tuning is extremely stable.

The dual filter section includes a four-pole low-pass filter inspired by the original Prophet-5 and a high-pass filter with touch-sensitive control. Filter tracking offers three keyboard-based cutoff modes for musical expressiveness. The signal path also features a fully analog distortion and a dual digital effects engine with Delay, BBD, Reverb, Chorus, and Phaser.

A built-in step sequencer and arpeggiator support hands-on performance and composition, with no menu diving required. The Prophet-6 is a modern classic offering a vintage voice with enhanced power and playability.
