Featuring unique lacewood panels (each with individual wood grain), it combines classic Prophet-5/10 analog architecture with modern enhancements. Each voice uses dual CEM3340 VCOs with triangle, sawtooth, and pulse (PWM) waveforms, OSC2 hard sync, and white noise, filtered through a switchable resonant filter (upgraded Curtis CEM3320 or Rev 2140).

The Prophet-10 SE excels with Poly Mod (Osc B and Filter Env modulating Osc A freq/PWM/LPF), configurable Unison (1-10 voices with detune), Split/Stack modes, and bi-timbrality. The 61-key Fatar keyboard with velocity and aftertouch, dual ADSR (Amp/Filter), multi-waveform LFO, Vintage Mode (emulating Rev1-4 friction), and 400 presets (200 factory + 200 user) make it a versatile studio and stage instrument.
