Sequential Pro 3 Special Edition is a 37-key hybrid synthesizer that can operate in monophonic or 3-voice paraphonic mode, combining two analog oscillators with a powerful digital wavetable oscillator (32 tables with 16 waves each). This versatile instrument merges classic analog sound with modern digital control, offering a vast range of sonic possibilities through a comprehensive modulation matrix, three LFOs, four loopable envelopes, and a 16-track sequencer. It's a synthesizer that bridges the flexibility of modular systems with the immediacy of a hands-on interface.

The Pro 3 SE features three distinct analog filters: Prophet-6, OB-6 (state-variable), and a transistor ladder filter inspired by Moog. Each filter delivers its own character and includes additional control parameters for precise tonal shaping. The dual digital effects engine includes delay, reverb, chorus, and phaser, while analog distortion and a tunable feedback path add grit and complexity. With four CV ins and outs, audio input, and deep MIDI/USB integration, the Pro 3 is ready to take center stage in any hybrid setup.

This Special Edition stands out with elegant walnut wood side panels and a tiltable control panel for enhanced ergonomics. With firmware version 1.2, the Pro 3 SE gains patch morphing capabilities—allowing seamless transitions between two presets, yielding either subtle evolutions or radical sound transformations depending on the patch complexity.
